Beltrami County Emergency Management Director Chris Muller described it as a “Symphony of Chain Saws”, that nearly continuous buzzing sound you hear all over Greater Bemidji these days. Unfortunately, you may not be able to join the Symphony since chain saws are as hot a ticket as toilet paper was at the start of Covid. And even if you have a chain saw…should you be using it? Bringing down a tree is not easy…and if it’s done wrong…you’ll find out what “going from bad to worse” actually means.
